SII at CDC Pink Book Workshop

On January 10-11, Student Immunization Initiative (SII) hosted a booth at CDC’s Pink Book Workshop, Epidemiology and Prevention of Vaccine-Preventable Diseases. This course was organized by Hawaii Immunization Coalition and was the first to be held in over twenty years. During the two-day event, participants received the most up-to-date information on vaccinations. The course was taught by two faculty from CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases. At the booth, SII members provided information on the HPV vaccine to providers and shared tips on how to approach their patients.
